A couple little rose plants from last year planted late in the fall have produced some beautiful flowers already as we move into summer. (See also my garden photos from a couple years ago.)

The Man and Woman of the Year campaign for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society saw the involvement of friend Mackenzie Glass this year in the competition to raise the most money for the campaign--and she won the Woman of the Year honor for Cleveland! It was a very emotional moment when she was recognized for her efforts at the downtown Marriott.
